Episode 94: Finally Talking About Pronouns

Should Christians call our friends, relatives, coworkers, and kids by their preferred names and pronouns if they do not match their biological sex? This is the million dollar question we’ve been asking amongst ourselves for the past few years. I am asked it all the time and I’ve been reluctant to address it publicly until now. As I say on this episode, I think we should offer one another tremendous charity and generosity in this conversation. This past weekend, while speaking on a panel alongside some friends from my church, I heard some very helpful wisdom, which my friend attributed to Sam Allberry: Our aim as Christ followers should be to maintain our witness and maintain our relationships.
